You know this site - it's your source to getting all up in my business. Enjoy! (SPECIAL NOTE: Make sure to read both entries! There are TWO below!)

Date: August 20, 2000
Did ya think I was dead? Sorry, you’re not that lucky. But you are lucky enough to
get another edition of the news!!! Not only that, but it’s a pretty big one at that. The big
thing about it though (which, really isn’t that big)? Two Big News Stories!!!
*Big News Story: Soccer has started. Yes, the usual aches and pains are there.
However, I actually feel pretty good. Spirits are currently up for the upcoming season and,
although I don’t think I’ll make varsity (d’oh!), I’m looking forward to working hard and
having a lot of fun this season. I would very much like to be on varsity, if for nothing else
the fact that they have more games. But I’ll take what I can get. I enjoy playing the game,
and I can’t wait to get out there and do my best. To put my body through all this hell, I
better have fun!!!
*Big News Story: School is coming, and there are quite a many changes for me to go
along with it. Lots of things have been happening, within myself and dealing with others,
over the summer that have taught me a lot about myself. One thing that most of my
schoolmates would say upon being questioned is that I act pretty immature sometimes. In
reality, I’m actually a very mature young man (seriously here folks). However, over this
summer I’ve seen some things and been through some things that I believe have increased
my maturity level. The only difference between this year and last year is that this year I’m
actually going to show it. (Want proof? See what I wrote to Bryan in this day’s edition of
Da Real.)
*Happy birthyday time!!! Today it goes to two very special people in my family. The
first is my wonderful wonderful cousin Kimmy. I hope she’s doing well in...uhh, where’s
she living again? Hehe - I think it’s Cleveland now, but I’m not sure. (Dang, I should
know that!!) She is younger than the other person who shares her birthday; someone who
likes to go by the name Iris. Now Iris is a very interesting name - it belongs to my mom!
Happy birthday mom! I know that your birthdays aren’t always that great, and that this
summer hasn’t been all that eventful for you. But nonetheless, you know that you have a
family that loves you. And at the end of the day, that’s all that really matters. ;-) Come on,
admit it - I’m the best birthday gift you could get. ;-) Hehe :-) Happy birthday you two.
*I know it’s not the most appealing of subjects, but my feet are killing me! I really
hope nobody is following me around with a camera looking at my feet because they are
really a mess thanks to soccer.
*So much love being lost nowadays. As far as LaShelle and I? I’ll send out this
message; unless either of us tells you, don’t ask. As of this moment, I’m not sure what’s
going to happen. Believe me however, when I say that once something happens you can
bet I’ll save myself the shock before I get back to school; it will be posted in this
section of the site.
*Late night thoughts right before you go to sleep can be a bitch...really.
*I had a rather interesting discussion with someone about the topic of racial
discrimination (which...somehow managed to wind up being a conversation about spoiled
dogs...). People, it’s the year 2000. If you know someone who stays away from someone
because of their differences of others, please talk to them. Tell them to wake up. Tell
them that inside we are all the same, and that we all really can get along. (As corny as it
sounds people, it’s true, it’s true.)
*In the upcoming school year, bet money on Old Navy becoming one of my best
friends...
*It is still unknown if I will do another sport outside of soccer this year. Although
I’ve been throwing around track, wrestling, and (more recently) basketball in the air, I
really don’t know anything.
*For anyone who was from Poly that represented at 92Q’s “Big Phat Brainfreeze”,
great job. Even though I didn’t see it, I’m sure ya’ll didn’t dissappoint.
*No Stone Soul Picnic for me. :::sigh:::
*No Lucy Pearl/D’Angelo for me (I think). :::sigh:::
*Six days until my mommy’s going away party!!! (:::yay!:::) Ritija, I wish you all the
luck in India, but I’ll tell ya that when I get there. I’m really looking forward to seeing
everyone from CMST again. I haven’t been this excited since I was waiting to go to
CMST!!!
*Look for a special section on the music site in the near future that will have me
going through the MTV Video Music Awards. I’ll be listing the nominees and choosing
my picks. That should be coming some time before the end of August.
*110 songs downloaded off Napster now. Yippee.
*For those who don’t know (and those who didn’t care - that would be most of you),
yes, Scotty’s feet have just about stopped growing. However, although I didn’t grow
much over the summer (I’m 6’4” or 6’5”, depending on how you wanna look at it), I may
have one last growth spurt left in me. Only time will tell...(tick, you damn biological
clock - tick damn you!!)
*Now before I leave, there’s one thing I’d like to address (which will also be
explained in greater detail in Da Real). People, stay out of other people’s business. If you
have no place there, don’t make space. You’ll only screw things up. And I’m talking
mainly to...
Well, that’s it for now. That certainly was a fairly large update. Kinda makes me
wanna sit back and smile. :-) Ahhh - that felt good. Well, that’s it for now! Besides, I’m
hungry. Somebody get me some food! Peace and God bless...

Date: August 24, 2000
Well, the last update went up late, so I guess it’s a little necessary to update the news
page more than once. What’s really strange is that there are once again two big news
stories. One of which has nothing personally to do with my life, but is something I want.
The other details some things about soccer season.
*Big News Story: Nintendo’s phantom “Dolphin” system has finally been
revealed...and it’s got a nice look to go with a nice name. In 2001, everyone will be
introduced to Nintendo’s next generation wonder - now officially known as the Nintendo
GameCube. (You can capitalize it anyway you want - I just like the way I did it.) For
those of you lazy folk out there, you can simply call the thing N-Cube. The pictures of the
demos ran on the system look BEAUTIFUL. Mario, Zelda, Luigi, and (THANK THE
ALMIGHTY HEAVENS, IT’S ABOUT MOTHA-FREAKIN’ TIME) Samus a.k.a.
Metroid all show off the system and what it can do. (Did you know that having 128
Mario’s on-screen at once can look really annoying?) Obviously, if you couldn’t tell by
now, I’m really looking forward to getting my hands on this thing. Still have to wait until
2K1 though...(Oh yea, and that Game Boy Advance thing - that looks lovely too.)
*Big News Story: My soccer season is starting to define itself more clearly now.
After taking the initiative, I found out that coach would like to keep my on J.V. for two
reasons. One is the same reason that another junior was held back last year, and that’s
because of (are you kidding me?) experience. The other is that J.V. is almost a guaranteed
start every game for me. Not bad. I just like to play the game, so I have no arguments
about where I am. I would have liked to have been on varsity, but that’s definetly later
down the road. For now, I’m gonna enjoy what I can do buuuuut....hold the phone. I’ve
been sidelined for a little bit with a knee injury. As much as I’m thinking it’s a jynx from
a surprise visit at practice today, I’ll continue to ice it nonetheless and hope that it heals
up soon. Lack of running will hurt me in the long run.
*I’m obviously not the only one who was surprised to see Richard (the naked gay
dude) win the $1 million on Survivor. It’s been fun watching the whole time, and I wish
Kelly hadn’t gotten that damn immunity idol so much. But it’s quite alright - she lost. >:-)
Congrats to Richard. He seems to already have plans for the money.
*Note to football players; STAY THE @#$% OFF OUR FIELD!!! You know
what’s comin’ if you don’t.
*News flash: Nothing can stay perfect forever.
*Oh yea, about those complications...I couldn’t update the page because I had no
computer! A new CD-ROM drive had to be put in the computer because my sister
mistakingly broke it earlier. Finally, I get to play “You Don’t Know Jack” some more...
*My homeroom is B2. I repeat, my homeroom, unfortunetly, is B2. If you are in B2,
and you are reading this page, please let me know you are. I feel so lonely because
everyone I know is in B1. :::sniff sniff:::
*If I do a winter sport, chances are 7:2:1 in the distribution of
wrestling:swimming:basketball. However, doing a winter sport will depend on how I’m
doing with my grades and my physical condition at the time.
*A simple two days seperate me from a party which will reunite me with some of my
CMST friends. I’m really looking forward to seeing all of you and all you *people*
again!!! I’m sure we’re gonna have fun up in Columbia on Saturday. Teeg, hope all goes
well in India!!!
*The MTV Video Music Awards special section will be up on the site September 1,
2000.
*Napster Count: 116
That be all peoples. I will be back, more than likely on Sunday when I update the
CMST page. Peace and God Bless...
